One of the key projects currently underway is inspired and supported by the Kehrig Family Fund. This project aims to better understand what causes severe inflammation in some children and why their bodies respond the way they do. By learning more about the signals in the body that trigger this inflammation, our researchers hope to find better ways to diagnose, treat, and ultimately prevent these challenging conditions.
